DiabilityCare Australia launched in Tasmania on the 1 July 2013. This transformative reform will initially give every young Tasmanian with a profound disability aged between 15 and 24 access to the care and support they need.

By the time the scheme is fully rolled out to all eligible Tasmanians about 11,000 Tasmanians with disability will be part of the scheme. Only the Rudd Labor Government can deliver the reform that Tasmanian’s with disability need.
